Summer Class options

 Falak Art invites students of every skill level from beginner to advance. Every student in the class works on different art as per there age and abilities. We take pride in challenging our students to more than they think they are capable of, and also encourage them to enter in art shows and art contests.

 

UP COMING ART SHOW: Irving Art Center members show

Current students along with the regular curriculum will also be working on 2d and 3d art, like Clay, Paper Quilling, and Mixed Media Self-portrait.

 

 Home work will be given every class. Students are expected to work on it and not ignore its importance

 

The fees are to be paid at the beginning of the class.

 

12 class package

This covers – Basic Elements & Principles of Design. Understanding the concept of shape, size, placements and angles. (This will be modified as per the skill level)

  • 8 concept* sketch  with pencil colors

  • 2 pencil shading

Continuing students: $269

New students: $ 299 (including supplies)*

 

24 class package

This covers -Basic Elements & Principles of Design. Understanding the concept of shape, size, placements and angles. Water color techniques, 

This course will complete

  • 8 concept* sketch  with pencil colors

  • 5 Pencil Shading & graphite art,

  • 4 Water Color painting,

  • 1 canvas painting size 9”x 12”

Student will be able to complete up to 18 art pieces and also get the Certification of Drawing level 1, 2 & basic water coloring.

36 class package

This covers – Basic Elements & Principles of Design Understanding the concept of shape, size, placements and angles. Water color techniques,

  • 12 concept* sketches with pencil colors

  • 6 Pencil Shading and graphite covers self-portrait, Animals with fur, Flowers, Still life from reference picture and from live setup with light settings.  

  • 6 Water Color paintings, like landscape, flowers, Still Life, Animals.

  • 6 canvas painting, size 9”x 12” and bigger

 continuing students: $549

AP Art program: Students submit a portfolio at the end of the academic year to attempt to earn college credit. Students are required to produce a minimum 24 works of art that reflect issues related to 2­D design/ drawing

 

Advance Art program: Curriculum designed for advance art program can help students build a portfolio which can give them high school art credit.

 

*Concept sketches –students learn to draw birds, animals, human figures, portraits and more with 3 easy step concept which is easy to remember, this enables young artist to independently draw everything and anything.
