Every artist has a beginning.

And sometimes, it begins with the desire to become better at something you already love.
For our August 2026 Artist of the Month, that journey belongs to Dhruv Rajvanshi. 🎨
Dhruv's story is a wonderful example of how interest, guidance, practice, and encouragement can come together to help a young artist grow.
Where the Journey Began
For Dhruv, art started with something very simple:
He has always enjoyed drawing and painting.
Over time, that enjoyment grew into a desire to improve his skills and explore his creativity further.
He joined Falak Art Studio because he wanted proper guidance and a place where he could continue growing as an artist.
And that is an important part of an artist's journey.
Talent may spark an interest in art, but learning how to develop that interest into a skill takes time, practice, guidance, and patience.
Finding the Right Environment
One of the things Dhruv particularly appreciates about his experience at Falak Art Studio is the support he receives from his teachers.
He describes them as supportive and patient, and appreciates how they encourage him to try new techniques and improve his work.
For a young artist, having an environment where experimentation is encouraged can make a tremendous difference.
Art is not about getting everything right the first time.
It is about trying.
Making mistakes.
Learning from them.
Trying something different.
And slowly discovering what works.
Art as a Form of Expression
For Dhruv, one of the most enjoyable things about art is the ability to express ideas and turn imagination into something visible.
He describes the joy of being able to turn his imagination into something he can see on paper.
That is one of the most beautiful things about art.
A blank sheet of paper becomes a place where an idea can take shape.
A pencil can create a portrait.
A brush can create an atmosphere.
Color can communicate emotion.
And an artist can take something that exists in their imagination and make it visible to someone else.
Growing Beyond Technique
Learning art is not only about mastering techniques.
It is also about developing confidence.
As Dhruv continued learning and experimenting, he found himself becoming more confident in his abilities and growing as an artist.
This is something we see often at Falak Art Studio.
A student may initially hesitate before starting a drawing.
Over time, they begin making decisions independently.
They start experimenting with techniques.
They become more comfortable with challenges.
And eventually, they begin to trust their own artistic instincts.
That transformation is just as important as the artwork itself.
