We are absolutely bursting with pride for our talented artists, who are shining in every art sphere.
Starting, Naisha Seth (7th Grade)! Naisha has achieved a significant honor by winning the Shiloh Road Station category in the prestigious DART Silver Line Student Artwork Pin Contest—a major achievement that puts her art on display for the entire community.
🎨 Painting the Story of the Silver Line
The contest challenged students to create artwork under the theme, "Stops & Stories. Your art. The Silver Line’s stories," celebrating the communities along the future DART Silver Line.
For Naisha, this contest was personal. As a teen from the Irving area who loves traveling and shopping in Plano and the DART Service Area with family and friends, she was able to connect her everyday life to the contest theme. Using her passion for painting, Naisha created a vibrant, compelling piece that perfectly captures the spirit of the Shiloh Road area. Her winning artwork was chosen to represent the community, demonstrating her ability to translate local identity into powerful art.
Moreover, Naisha has a genuine appreciation for the arts planned for the station itself. She loves and appreciates the unique artwork that will be featured at the Shiloh Road Station, particularly the designs incorporating different components and images of electricity and a power station theme. This shows the thoughtful observation and connection to her environment that we encourage in all our students!
