Celebrating Artistic Excellence

February Achievements and Creative Highlights at Falak Art Studio

Every month at Falak Art Studio brings new moments of creativity, learning, and proud milestones. While our students continue to explore new techniques and ideas in the studio, many of them also take their creativity beyond the classroom and shine in competitions and exhibitions.

This February, we celebrate both student achievements and the creative growth happening inside our studio, highlighting how young artists continue to build confidence, skill, and imagination through their artistic journeys.

Mahashivaratri Art & Craft Contest

IRENTURENT – February 2026

We are proud to celebrate Ashwika Katakam (Age 15) for her recognition in the IRENTURENT Mahashivaratri Art & Craft Contest – February 2026.

Ashwika’s artwork beautifully captures the spiritual and cultural essence of Mahashivaratri. Through vibrant colors and expressive composition, she illustrated a devotional scene centered around the sacred Shiva Lingam, surrounded by offerings, light, and prayer. The glowing sunrise, serene waters, and traditional elements come together to create a powerful atmosphere of devotion and symbolism.

Her work demonstrates both artistic skill and thoughtful storytelling, reflecting how young artists can bring cultural themes and emotion into their compositions.

School Art Show Recognition

Uplift North Hills Preparatory

Another proud moment comes from Avvish Vali (Age 8), who earned 3rd place in the Grade 3 School Art Competition at Uplift North Hills Preparatory for his artwork titled The Diamond.

Avvish’s drawing reflects a strong understanding of structure, form, and shading. By carefully observing the geometric shape of the diamond, he created a piece that demonstrates impressive attention to perspective and depth for his age.

Achievements like these highlight the importance of strong artistic foundations and the confidence that develops when young artists continue to practice and explore.

From Love & Expression to Landscapes with Depth

Our Creative Journey Continues

February was also an exciting month inside the studio. Students explored the theme of Love, Joy, Kindness, and Self-Expression, drawing inspiration from the expressive styles of Romero Britto and Salvador Dalí.

Through bold colors, playful forms, symbolism, and emotion-driven art, students strengthened their visual storytelling while gaining confidence in expressing their ideas. Each artwork reflected individuality, imagination, and growing artistic maturity as students experimented with different techniques and compositions.

Looking Ahead: March Theme

Landscape Composition

As we move into March, students will begin exploring Landscape Composition, inspired by the works of Salvador Dalí and David Hockney.

In this theme, students will learn how to build strong visual structure and depth by understanding the key elements of landscape design:

• Foreground

• Middle ground

• Background

These concepts help artists create a sense of distance and perspective, transforming simple drawings into immersive scenes with depth and balance.

March Theme Highlights

Each level will approach the theme in unique ways:

Level 1

Simple landscapes with clear depth and structure.

Level 2

Layered, colorful landscapes that develop stronger perspective and composition.

Level 3

Artist-inspired landscapes that explore surreal or vibrantly realistic interpretations.

With this theme, students will continue strengthening their understanding of perspective while learning how to create visually engaging environments and compositions.

February has been a month filled with creativity, recognition, and artistic exploration. From competition achievements to new classroom themes, our students continue to grow not only as artists but also as confident creative thinkers.

At Falak Art Studio, we are proud to support every step of their journey and celebrate each milestone along the way.

A vibrant and dynamic month lies ahead, focused on depth, perspective, and artistic impact. 🎨
