🎨 Meet Our Artist of the Month: Vedita Barot, Age 9
Every young artist begins somewhere.
Sometimes it starts with a fascination with color.Sometimes with endless sketching.Sometimes with simply looking at a painting and thinking:
"I want to make something like that."
For Vedita Barot, her love for art began early—and over the years, that curiosity has grown into a passion for creating.
We are delighted to feature Vedita, age 9, as our Falak Art Studio Artist of the Month! 🌟
🖌️ FROM A 5-YEAR-OLD WHO LOVED TO DRAW...
Vedita's mom, Dipa Barot, remembers how her daughter's artistic journey began.
When Vedita was just five, she saw some paintings her mother had created when she was younger and excitedly said:
"I wanna paint like you mommy!"
That moment became an important starting point in Vedita's artistic journey.
Soon after, she began her first formal art classes at Falak Art Studio.
🎨 FROM SKETCHING TO EXPLORING MULTIPLE MEDIUMS
When Vedita first started, she could spend an entire class sketching and coloring with watercolor pencils.
Today, her artistic skills have continued to develop.
Her experience at FalakArts has introduced her to a variety of artistic mediums, including:

Each new medium has given Vedita another way to explore her creativity.
🌱 THE POWER OF PRACTICE
One of the most exciting parts of watching a young artist grow is seeing how much can change with consistent practice.
Vedita's mom shares that sketching, which once took much of her class time, now takes only a few minutes.
That progress isn't accidental.
It comes from repeatedly practicing the fundamentals, completing assignments and gradually building confidence.
At FalakArts, students are encouraged to develop both creative expression and artistic discipline—two skills that grow together over time.
💛 WHAT MAKES VEDITA LOVE ART?
For Vedita, art isn't simply about making something look beautiful.

From a five-year-old who wanted to "paint like mommy" to a nine-year-old exploring multiple mediums, her journey is a wonderful reminder:
