🧩 The $100 Cube Challenge Is ON! Can Our Young Artists Turn a Cube Into Art?
Every Level. A Different Creative Challenge. 🎨
What can you create when you start with something as simple as a cube?
At Falak Art Studio, we're challenging our students to find out!
Our $100 Cube Challenge is giving students an opportunity to take the concepts they've been learning in their curriculum and transform them into an imaginative 3D artwork.
And there is more at stake than just creativity...
🏆 $100 Cash Prizes + Art Supplies!

🎨 One Cube. Five Creative Directions.
Every curriculum level has been given a different artistic focus, allowing students to work with concepts appropriate to their skill level while still having the freedom to create something completely their own.
🟧 2D PRISMACOLOR
Elements of Art
Students explore the fundamental elements that make an artwork visually interesting and expressive.
🟪 3D PRISMACOLOR
Composition
How do you arrange shapes, colors and forms to create a strong visual composition?
💧 WATERCOLOR
Watercolor Techniques
Students bring watercolor techniques into a completely different format—turning a three-dimensional form into an artistic canvas.
🎨 ACRYLIC
Color Theory
Color becomes the star as students explore relationships, combinations and contrasts.
✏️ GRAPHITE & CHARCOAL
Principles of Design
Students apply design principles such as balance, contrast, emphasis, rhythm and unity to their cube artwork.
✍️ AND THEN THERE'S THE ADVANCED ART CHALLENGE...
Typography Portraits
Our Advanced Art students are taking creativity one step further.
Instead of simply drawing a portrait, students are exploring how letters and words can become part of the portrait itself.
Imagine using typography to communicate:
personality • emotion • identity • expression
The result?
A portrait created not just with lines and shading—but with words and ideas.

🎨 WHY CHALLENGES LIKE THIS MATTER
At Falak Art Studio, competitions aren't simply about winning.
They give students an opportunity to:
✨ apply classroom skills independently✨ think creatively✨ experiment with new ideas✨ work within artistic guidelines✨ make creative decisions✨ present their finished artwork✨ experience the excitement of sharing their work
Most importantly, students learn that art isn't about having just one right answer.
There can be hundreds of creative answers to the same challenge.
🧩 START WITH A CUBE. END WITH A CREATION.
A simple shape can become a portrait.
A concept can become a composition.
A classroom skill can become something extraordinary.
We can't wait to see what our young artists create! 🎨
