Celebrating Student Excellence in Art: Achievements and Recognition

Our Young Creatives have earned top honors, including the High School VASE 2026 Gold Seal, Jr. VASE Platinum awards with perfect scores , Gold Medals, and recognition in several other contests like, DART Student Art contest, YAM, Never Such Innocence etc. Art has the power to express emotions, tell stories, and inspire change.

Students have shown that creativity has no limits. Their recent accomplishments in prestigious art competitions highlight their talent and dedication. Their success reflects not only individual skill but also the support and encouragement from their community.


Outstanding Achievements in VASE Competitions


The Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) is a highly competitive platform where students showcase their artistic skills. This year, several of our students earned remarkable distinctions:


  • Amulya Chandupatla received for her artwork Titled 'Priceless' the High School VASE 2026 State - Gold Seal , a prestigious award recognizing exceptional artistic ability.




  • Sahasra Potlapalli achieved the Jr. VASE Platinum award with a perfect score and earned a Gold Medal in Division 3, demonstrating mastery in her category.




  • Ashwika Katakam secured the 2026 Jr. VASE Platinum award and a Gold Medal, highlighting her consistent excellence.



  • Saanvi Gunjati earned the Jr. VASE Platinum award with a Superior Rating, showing strong technical skills and creativity.



  • Ishani Thakkar was honored with the 2026 Jr. VASE Platinum Award, marking her as one of the top young artists.




  • Ganishka Kapoor received the Jr. VASE Platinum award and a Red Medal in Division 2, recognizing her artistic achievements.




  • Otto Hanson won a Jr. VASE Gold Medal and was also a Youth Art Month Winner, reflecting his broad recognition.


These awards are not easy to earn. They require students to submit portfolios that demonstrate originality, technique, and a clear artistic voice. The perfect scores and gold medals show that our students are competing at the highest levels.


Recognition in Other Prestigious Art Contests


Beyond VASE, our students have also excelled in other notable competitions:


  • Alexis York, a 10th grader, was recognized in the DART Student Art Contest, which celebrates innovative and thoughtful artwork from young creators.





  • Samraggi Banerjee was a finalist in the Never Such Innocence Art Competition 2025/26, an international contest that encourages young artists to reflect on themes of peace and conflict.


These contests provide platforms for students to express their unique perspectives and gain exposure beyond the local community. Being finalists and winners in such events speaks to the quality and impact of their work.
