Little Artist, Big Win: Atharv Mathew Shines at Chalk the Walk Art Contest

On June 7, 2025, Heritage Park in Flower Mound transformed into a vibrant outdoor gallery during the Chalk the Walk Art Contest, inviting artists of all ages and skill levels to turn concrete squares into creative masterpieces.

Among the many participants, Atharv Mathew stood out for his colorful chalk art featuring a bright peacock and sunburst — a charming and imaginative creation that caught the judges’ attention. His hard work and artistic flair earned him the prize in the under 6 years category, making his family and art community proud.

Participants were given a square on the pavement and a set of chalks to let their creativity bloom. Atharv, using soft pastels and a confident hand, brought his square to life — proving that creativity knows no age.
