At Falak Art Studio, creativity grows in the meaningful little moments. In the pause before a brave brushstroke, in the spark when imagination begins to unfold, and in the joy of watching young artists bring ideas to life. Our students learn more than techniques. They learn to observe closely, explore freely, express confidently, and trust their instincts as creators. When they work with the Principles of Design, their artworks begin to carry intention, clarity, and purpose.

This year’s Principles of Design Project Contest reflected that growth beautifully. Students across all age groups participated with enthusiasm, showcasing planning, artistic judgment, curiosity, and a strong understanding of how design shapes visual storytelling.

Each finalist showed how thoughtful choices in design can make artwork feel alive, expressive, and full of intention. With immense appreciation for the Falak Arts community, we are excited to highlight the young talents who truly shined.

🏆 Grand Prize Spotlight: Saanvi Gunjati

Prize: $100 Cash Award

Saanvi’s 3D Principles of Design Cube showcased impressive variety, contrast, proportion, unity, and balance. Her thoughtful illustrations and careful attention to detail brought each side of the cube to life. Her work reflects growing confidence, patience, and a beautifully developing artistic voice.

🎁 Art Kit Winner: Sahasra Potapalli

Sahasra’s cube was filled with vibrant energy. Her understanding of contrast, balance, unity, rhythm, and movement shone through bold color choices and thoughtful compositions. Every panel felt intentional, well-structured, and full of creative joy.

Vijayadharshini created a cube rich with contrast, pattern, balance, and emphasis. Her imaginative storytelling and expressive visual details made her artwork engaging and full of personality. Her thoughtful approach made each side feel like a new discovery.

Ashlyn’s 3D Principles of Design Cube reflected her lively imagination and unique artistic flair. Through expressive linework and playful contrasts, she turned each panel into its own little story, showing confidence and creative courage.
