Artist of the Month: Cathy Ha — Rediscovering the Joy of Art
Every young artist has a story. Sometimes, it is about discovering a talent. Sometimes, it is about finding the right place to let that talent grow.
At Falak Art Studio, we believe that every student's artistic journey is unique. This November, we are delighted to feature Cathy Ha, age 12, whose story reminds us how meaningful it can be to reconnect with something we love.
A Love for Art That Found Its Way Back
Cathy began drawing at the age of six and attended art classes for approximately two years. When her family moved, finding a suitable art studio where she could continue learning proved difficult, and she had to take a break from formal art classes.
Eventually, her family discovered Falak Art Studio through an online search—and a new chapter in Cathy's artistic journey began.
Today, Cathy enjoys attending her classes and looks forward to learning new techniques, exploring ideas, and creating artwork. It is wonderful to see her reconnect with her passion and continue developing her skills and creativity.
Exploring, Learning, and Creating
From expressive subjects and colorful compositions to detailed studies, Cathy's artwork reflects her ongoing exploration of different artistic ideas.
At Falak Art Studio, students follow a curriculum-based learning approach that helps them develop their skills progressively while experimenting with techniques, materials, and their own creative choices.
For Cathy, every class is an opportunity to learn something new, build confidence, and enjoy the process of creating.
A Parent's Perspective
Sharing her family's experience, Cathy's parent, Thiep Ha, expressed how happy they are to have found a place where Cathy can continue pursuing her interest in art.
“Cathy really enjoys going to her art classes and looks forward to learning and creating new artwork. It’s wonderful to see her reconnect with her passion for art and have the opportunity to continue developing her skills and creativity.”
Thiep Ha's words capture what makes a supportive art-learning environment so important: it gives young artists the opportunity to continue exploring their interests, grow at their own pace, and find joy in the creative process.
Celebrating Cathy's Artistic Journey
Cathy's story is a reminder that a pause in learning does not have to mean the end of a passion. Sometimes, all it takes is the right opportunity to begin again.
We are delighted to have Cathy as part of the Falak Art Studio community and look forward to seeing her artistic skills, imagination, and confidence continue to flourish.
Congratulations, Cathy, on being our November Artist of the Month! Keep exploring, keep creating, and keep letting your imagination lead the way.
