Celebrating Creativity: The $100 Cube Challenge & Typography Portrait Winners
At Falak Art Studio, learning art goes beyond creating a beautiful picture. It is about understanding artistic principles, experimenting with new ideas, and discovering individual ways to express creativity.
Our recent $100 Cube Challenge and Typography Portrait Challenge gave students across different curriculum levels an opportunity to put their skills into practice, explore creative possibilities, and showcase their artistic vision.
We are delighted to celebrate our winners and recognize the creativity demonstrated by all participating students!
The $100 Cube Challenge: Art Fundamentals in Action
Students from Levels 1, 2, and 3 participated in the Art Fundamentals Challenge, exploring four essential areas of artistic learning: Elements of Art, Principles of Design, Color Theory, and Composition.
Through their cube projects, students applied these concepts to create visually engaging artwork, experimenting with color, pattern, balance, contrast, and the arrangement of visual elements.

When Words Become Art: Typography Portrait Challenge
Our Advanced Art students explored a different creative direction through the Typography Portrait Challenge, transforming letters and words into expressive portraits.
Typography is more than arranging text. Through the thoughtful use of lettering, contrast, spacing, and composition, artists can create images that communicate personality, emotion, and meaning.
The challenge encouraged students to explore how words can become visual elements and how text itself can help construct a portrait.

More Than a Contest: Learning Through Creativity
Both challenges reflect an important part of the Falak Art Studio curriculum: helping students move from learning artistic concepts to applying them independently.
The Cube Challenge emphasized foundational skills, including color relationships, composition, balance, and design principles. The Typography Portrait Challenge encouraged advanced students to experiment with lettering, visual structure, and expressive communication.
Through opportunities like these, students can challenge themselves, explore different approaches, and develop confidence in their artistic decisions.
Celebrating Every Artist
We congratulate all our winners and finalists for their creativity, effort, and willingness to experiment. Every entry represents an opportunity to learn, discover new possibilities, and grow as an artist.
At Falak Art Studio, we look forward to seeing our students continue to develop their skills, embrace new challenges, and bring their ideas to life through art.
Keep creating. Keep experimenting. Keep discovering your artistic voice.
