Artist of the Month : Alexis York - Age 15

Alexis, a talented artist & violinist, embodying her passion for music & creativity. 

Alexis discovered her love for art at a very young age and has always found it deeply enjoyable. She entered her first art competition in first grade and attended several Irving Arts Center Art Camps when she was in elementary school. During the pandemic she used her art to bring joy to family and friends, creating works of art with the hope of putting smiles on their faces. 

Her formal art training began in the summer of 2022 at Falak Art Studio, where she soon built the confidence to enter art competitions. 

Thanks to the excellent teaching and guidance from Ms. Nisha and Mr. Quinton, Alexis has learned to refine the detail in her pieces and to create unique art that tells compelling stories. She enjoys working with Prismacolor pencils and charcoal for their speed and realistic finish.

We are so thankful to Falak Art Studio for providing the highest level of art training and recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their art skills.
